Singer, songwriter and producer Surel is poised to expand the boundaries of R&B and pop with her powerfully unique voice and profound lyrics. Surel is married to NFL star Jamal Williams from the San Diego Chargers and they have two beautiful children. Most of the lyrics in her music are based on her personal life and the struggles and triumphs she encounters.

She draws inspiration from such diverse influences as Billie Holiday and Lauren Hill. Surel blends her soulful delivery with real life experiences and slowly brings you into her world.

Surel’s debut album For My Good was an amazing album.  She had 3 hit songs including For My Good, My Vow To You and Saying Goodbye. She wrote or co-wrote all 13 tracks and had great producers on the album including Tonex, Tracey Carter and Ernie G.

Surel dedicates herself to creating great music that everyone can enjoy. She transcends the negativity of much of today’s music by bringing light, instead of darkness, to her audience, exploring life’s challenges in new ways.  
Surel’s much anticipated sophomore will be out in May and her single will drop in April and it’s sure to be a success!

Surel was born Sureldie Rycha Davis in Desoto, Texas, a neighboring city to Dallas, Texas. She is the younger of 2 daughters of a devoted Christian family.
